Overview
Firefly has two forms: regular (energy building) and Sam (burst DPS). In Sam state she deals massive Fire and Super Break damage. Her Ultimate transforms her into Sam, and she exits when energy depletes or on command.
How to Play
Build Energy to enter Sam via Ultimate. In Sam state, prioritize Weakness Break on the target — Super Break procs deal massive bonus damage. Use Enhanced Basic Attacks for single-target burst. Exit Sam before energy runs out if the target is already broken.
Optimal Rotation
Ruan Mei Skill + Ultimate → Sparkle buffs Firefly → Firefly Ultimate (enter Sam) → Enhanced Basic Attacks to break weakness → Super Break proc → exit Sam → rebuild energy → repeat. Time Sam entry with Ruan Mei buff uptime.
Strengths
Highest single-target burst in the game via Super Break. Ignores enemy DEF with Iron Cavalry 4pc. Pairs perfectly with Ruan Mei. Dominates boss fights and MoC single-target floors.
Weaknesses
Needs Ruan Mei for peak performance. Weak AoE outside of Super Break. Complex rotation with Sam energy management. Requires heavy Break Effect investment.
Investment Priority
Farm Iron Cavalry relics first — the 4pc effect is essential. Stack Break Effect on rope and substats. Ruan Mei is more important than Firefly Eidolons. E0 with proper relics clears all content.
